Course Description

Data play an increasingly important role in decision-making in modern organizations. This course begins by discussing the importance of data management, and continues with a hands-on approach to SQL, the most widely used data manipulation language. Topics covered will also include data warehousing, data quality and NoSQL. The goal of the course is to give students the knowledge and skills to use databases effectively in any business situation.
