ARTS 2248 Computer Aided Drafting and Design (Fall/Spring: 1 )

Course Description

Computer-aided drafting and design technology is an indispensable design tool for entertainment and theatrical stage and lighting design. This course will use interactive training techniques to introduce students to the Vectorworks software tools and workspaces. Projects will incorporate both 2D and 3D elements as commonly used to draft scenic and lighting designs. A basic understanding of drafting concepts such as plan, elevation, scale and drawing units will be helpful for this class.
