THTR 3348 Event Design & Organization (Spring: 3 )


Course Description

This course will introduce students to the visual design and styling of events, that is press events, concerts, celebrations, industrials, video conferences, as well as the successful management and organization of those events. The various questions of style, personnel, audience, budget, schedule, location and communication will be looked at from the point of view of the design team and the management team. Actual events will be used as examples and student will use them as case studies to develop their own designs and support structures.
