Course Description

The study, in Japanese, of Japanese contemporary culture: film, music, manga, anime, geinōkai, cuisine, fashion, kosupure, and with a special emphasis on observing speech patterns and behaviors in the works of Miyazaki and Shikai.

Prerequisites: Third-year Japanese or equivalent. Students currently in Third-year Japanese may enroll with permission.
